Black Tie Affair square

The wonderful Iris is state flower of Tennessee and for a good reason as it is truly a lovely elegant flower that is hardy and will grow in almost any condition.

On part of the 207 acres at the Ellington Agricultural Center you will discover to the right of the main entrance a large Iris garden. It is taken care of by the Middle Tennessee Iris Society in honor the official flower of Tennessee the Iris.
